“Scooby” Newest Addition to FilmSavage.com but, more help is needed for other resuce dogs.
“Scooby” is the newest addition to FilmSavage.com our New Office Dog.
Of course he was a rescue and the People at Second Chance Animal Rescue (SCAR) took amazing care of him during the four months of surgery he need to remove the chain embedded into his neck. It looks as if he was left on a chain until it grew into his neck but, he is totally healed now and thanks to the kindness of strangers he is well on his way to being a great office dog.
Second Chance Animal Rescue is a wonderful rescue organization who needs our help to not only adopt animals but, foster them until they can find a good home. Please see how you can help by clicking on the link below. They need donations for pet food, supplies etc. But mostly the need is to foster so many dogs that have come from the recent Hurricane in Louisiana.

Thank you Gwyn for providing such a wonderful forever home for our sweet Scooby. It’s people like you, who have the patience to work with the “less than perfect dog” that we desperatley need more of. You are an angel.
BTY, we’ve pulled both of the dogs listed above. The yorkie had surgury on his broken leg yesterday and we’re trying to raise money for the cocker’s cherry eyes ($~800) If anybody would like to contribute or foster, please visit our website at http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/secondchancenm.html

Scooby is so lucky to have such a great family!! We try to help dogs like Scooby and we really need more fosters willing to help prepare the dogs for family life! Please email us at secondchancenm@yahoo.com if you want to help….it is unbelievably rewarding and you get so much back in return for just showing an animal some love and compassion.
You are great people good luck to all of you with your new addition.
I love what you guys are doing – we need more groups like you and more people like Gwyn! we adopted Darby from you last year and she has turned out to be the best dog! We’re thinking about getting another dog, and if we do, it will definetly be a SCAR dog!
Keep up the great work!
This is GREAT guys! I will post your blog address on my blog site and will forward it to everyone in my address book!

I am so glad that the “unadoptable” animals are starting to get names and more importantly homes. Congratualtions to Gwyn who just adopted Scooby out of the love of her heart. People like this make life worth living for animals who have never had a reason to live or love. Often, these “unadoptable” animals end up appreciating the simple pleasures much more than the average pet! Keep it up!!!!
This is a wonderful way to bring attention to animals needing homes. I will be sure to bring it to my friends’ attention and ask them to do the same. Thank you for all you do.
I met Scooby and i’m so glad you’ve given him the awesome home he deserves. God Bless you and Second Chance!
I, having had the pleasure of becoming friends with both Gwyn & her beloved Scooby, over the past few weeks, can appreciate what a magnificate friend he has become to Gwyn & her filmsavage family, of which i consider myself part. Now back in Australia i miss you all.
