Hi Gwyn. I was out of town for the casting call. I’ve updated everything on the sight. I hope that’s good enough.
Gwen
We’ll miss you Gwen, you were the worlds nicest casting director.
Gwyn, I’ve met you only once, but you left an indelible impression of finesse, work ethics, and good sense in my memory. I appreciate your appreciation of the Asian culture, I remember the meditation room at your office and your ability to speak some Asian languages – you were impressive.
When we met, I talked about you to my friends and family, that’s how unforgettable you were to me, so wherever part of the heaven you are right now (East, West, South or North), I am sure you’re watching us and know that you will always see a reason to smile at us.
Gwyn! You will be so missed by so many people. What an honor to have been your friend. You have touched so many lives. You have done so many great things. But it was the little thing that you done that make you so very special. There is one secene that will always be in my Mind. While filming, “Beer For My Horse”. You had this young girl by the hand rushing her across the street to the restroom, you took care of every one big or small. II’ll miss you Gwyn, one way or another we will get our film project done for you.

Gwyn and I were best friends in junior high school. Over the years we lost contact, but I was lucky enough to get reacquainted with her about a year ago. I feel so blessed and honored to have called Gwyn my friend. She will be truly missed. May her smile shine on forever in all of our hearts.
To Gwyn’s Family. Pat and I so enjoyed having Gwyn and Scoobie as our next door neighbors. We really miss her kind ways and her eagerness to find a job for everyone. What a great neighbor! It is nice to know that there is a new angel watching over all of us.
Fondly, Alex Kiska
Gwyn!! I will forever carry your smile in my heart!! We were first and foremost friends and were lucky enough to work together. You were our biggest cheerleader and gave many of my actors opportunities they would otherwise have been passed on. You were patient and fought for our rights on set (and additional pay bumps). You made it a joy to be on set for many. We will continue, work hard, smile and think of you often.
Love……Janice
you are a shining star~ you will be missed.
Dearest Gwyn:
Your light will always shine in my heart. Your strength is admirable. I thank you for being so kind to me… and I’m sure you were kind to everyone that you met. It seemed to come naturally to you.
Gwyn, you’ll always be in my prayers.
love you. Goldie Garcia
I NEVER MET YOU BUT I WOULD HEAR YOU ON 94 ROCK SOMETIMES WHEN YOU WERE DOING CASTING CALLS. REST IN PIECE MS. SAVAGE, YOU MADE A GREAT COMPANY HERE , GOD BLESS.
Gwen Savage gave me (Tina Taylor/Spotlight Referral) our start in Bookings. Our first Movie was a Steven Spielberg/TNT/Dreamworks Production “Into the West” Gwen was one of the Casting Directors. Gwen took a-liking to me and made sure all the people I booked had featured/Stand-ins/Stunts parts and She took Great Care of Us all. We have Pictures with her that we will Cherish, Gwen you will be forever in our Memory Vault. /I/Spotlight Referral will take this time to remember Gwen as a Great Director/Friend, full of Fun and Smiles, who will be be missed Dearly ~

Gwen, you have been on my mind lately and now I understand why. I am truly grateful to have met you, thank you for the opportunities, you will be missed!
Gwyn, I can never thank you enough for everything you have done for me. I owe the start of my professional film career to you. Thank you for believing in me and pushing me on directors for work. Thank you for being such a friendly human being. Your mark on the industry and on the hearts and minds of so many people has been made. See you on that big film set up in the sky some day where I will finally be able to thank you in person.
Gwyn, I wanted so much to come but could not make it. You have very much been in my thoughts. I recall one of your earlier TV interviews about how you were the first to give many their break in acting. That included me, though truly, I did not think anything would come of it and was very surprised to be called. You had an uncanny sense of casting, as I later realized. There will always be a spot in my heart for you and a debt of gratitude. I will remember you as I last saw you, happy, full of life and plans for the future. I believe in reincarnation and hope we will meet again next time around.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Gwyn and her family.
